In Japanese bullfighting the bulls are the ones who fight against each other. Each farmer accompanies their bull to the ground and encourage the animal to face against the other. This kind of bullfighting has a history of 800 years. Every year there are three competitions. Nowadays Oki is one of the few places in Japan where this tradition is still alive. In Japanese it is known as "ushitsuki". In english is also know as "bull sumo".
